Brandon doesn't have the venue density of Winnipeg, but it does host real touring acts and a steady run of theatre and community music. Here is where live shows actually happen, and what each venue is good for.
Keystone Centre
The big one. Hockey by night, country concert by next weekend, trade show by the month after. Major touring acts that hit Brandon usually play here. Capacity of around 5,000+ for concerts. The Keystone Centre events calendar is the source of truth for upcoming shows.
Western Manitoba Centennial Auditorium (WMCA)
Brandon's dedicated theatre. ~830 seats. Home to Brandon Symphony Orchestra, touring theatre productions, dance recitals, and family shows. More intimate than the Keystone for serious music or theatre.
Brandon University — Lorne Watson Recital Hall & other campus venues
The School of Music hosts recitals, faculty performances, and student concerts during the academic year. Free or low-cost for most. The Lorne Watson Recital Hall is the main venue. Check the school's events calendar in fall and winter terms.
Local bars / clubs / restaurants with live music
On any given Friday or Saturday, several Brandon spots have live music — usually local cover bands, singer-songwriters, or trivia / open mic nights. The lineup rotates and the best way to find current acts is each venue's Facebook page.
Outdoor / seasonal venues
Riverbank Discovery Centre hosts outdoor summer concerts (often free). Princess Park hosts Canada Day and community concerts. These usually only show up on event calendars 2–4 weeks out.
Community theatre
Mecca Productions, Brandon University Department of Drama, and various community groups run productions through the season — often at WMCA or the BU theatre.

Keystone Centre's calendar covers the big stuff. WMCA's site covers most theatre. Brandon Tourism aggregates events. Local venues post first to Facebook / Instagram.
